What is Myotherapy?

Myotherapy is a type of clinical treatment that uses assessment, manual therapy and corrective exercise to alleviate pain, improve dysfunction and restore movement to the body. 

Myotherapy uses a range of treatment techniques, such as dry needling, cupping, massage, joint mobilisation and passive stretching to get the body moving and feeling better.

Do I need a referral from my GP?

No referral is needed. You can book directly with us.

What is Remedial Massage?

Remedial massage is a targeted, therapeutic treatment aimed at targeting tense muscles & tissues to relieve pain and improve function. Unlike relaxation massages, remedial massage focuses on addressing pain and dysfunction, often over a series of sessions.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Wear something comfortable that allows easy access to the area being treated. Shorts and a singlet are ideal.

Do you accept Private Health Insurance?

Yes, both myotherapy and remedial massage are claimable through most private health fund extras. See the Fees & Claiming Page for more details.
