What is Myotherapy?
Myotherapy is a type of clinical treatment that uses assessment, manual therapy and corrective exercise to alleviate pain, improve dysfunction and restore movement to the body.
Myotherapy uses a range of treatment techniques, such as dry needling, cupping, massage, joint mobilisation and passive stretching to get the body moving and feeling better.

What is Remedial Massage?
Remedial massage is a targeted, therapeutic treatment aimed at targeting tense muscles & tissues to relieve pain and improve function. Unlike relaxation massages, remedial massage focuses on addressing pain and dysfunction, often over a series of sessions.

Do I need a referral from my GP?
No referral is needed. You can book directly with us.

What should I wear to my appointment?
Wear something comfortable that allows easy access to the area being treated. Shorts and a singlet are ideal.

Do you accept Private Health Insurance?
Yes, both myotherapy and remedial massage are claimable through most private health fund extras. See the Fees & Claiming Page for more details.

Do you accept WorkCover clients?
Yes. WorkCover consultations can be booked online. The patient must be approved for Myotherapy PRIOR to booking their consultation. The patient is responsible for paying the full fee at the time of appointment, and will receive a paid invoice to claim the WorkCover rebate afterward. Please refer to the Fee Schedule to understand your out of pocket costs.

Do you offer after work/weekend appointments?
Yes - we offer evening appointments Monday - Thursday, and Saturday morning appointments until 12.

Will I receive hands-on treatment during my consultation?
Yes, all consultations include an assessment, hands-on treatment & a treatment plan or corrective exercises to help manage your symptoms long-term.
